Culvert Clearing PNGL

The section of rail from Napier to Wairoa on the PNGL has been closed for six years and will soon reopen to logging trains with funding from the Government’s Provincial Growth Fund.

As part of the reopening, culverts needed to be cleared and drainage installed.

Abernethy Projects use Hi-Rail Excavators with long reach boom attachments where access is limited.
